Our LFP chemistry offers a high level of stability and cost-effectiveness, making it an ideal alternative to NMC chemistries in modern EVs. Irontree Energy was founded to provide the US with a domestic source that can leverage these technologies.

Our sister company, Nowphene, was established in 2012 by US battery researchers, and specializes in FP materials research and production. Our team of engineers is committed to continuous research and improvement of technology to develop new materials.

 

Currently, our FP material production is centered in factories located in China's Guangxi and Sichuan, with the intent to produce LFP precursor and materials in United States in the coming years.

Our Strategies

Irontree Energy reduces the cost of LFP batteries by upcycling industrial waste generated as a by-product from commercial facilities to produce FP raw materials. We are involved in environmental improvement through the recycling of industrial waste.

Vertically integrated production

LFP battery performance is determined by FP. FP production is complicated, but not many companies participate because of low profitability. If we produce LFP with high competitiveness in FP production, we can increase profitability and maintain high quality.

Global spread of production

In order to respond to increasingly complex trade regulations and environmental issues, FP is produced in China and LFP is produced in the US to enhance product competitiveness. In order to avoid restrictions on raw material imports, Vietnam and Indonesia are also being considered as production sites and markets.
